Welcome to our First World War multimedia resource page. This site is the product of David Welshman and Christopher Young completed as a component of ED535 "Applications of Learning Theory in Educational Multimedia Design"from Cape Breton University during the fall 2007 semester.
The links on the right provide a number of valuable resources for anyone teaching about World War One trench warfare.
In addition to a general concept map pretaining to the main events of World War One, we have also included the following components:
1. A nine-day lesson plan that details trench warfare
2. A multimedia page containing online resources that can be used in the classroom
3. A webquest that requires collaboration to produce a classroom presentation about trench warfare
It was a great learning experience developing these multimedia resources, we hope you enjoy
